Goldman Sachs analyst Jordan Alliger raised the firm’s price target on Norfolk Southern to $266 from $261 and keeps a Conviction Buy rating on the shares after its Q4 results. The company’s higher revenue in Q4 was offset the slight margin miss, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm further states that while volume growth remained negative for Norfolk Southern in Q4, the rate of decline improved for the third consecutive quarter as the network continues to overcome headwinds associated with the slower and congested network.
