Nintendo’s Miyamoto tells Variety ‘Mario’ games to move away from mobile

Ahead of Nintendo’s upcoming "Super Mario Bros." film, former Nintendo EAD general manager and "Mario" creator Shigeru Miyamoto told Variety that upcoming "Mario" games will not be primarily coming to mobile. "Mobile apps will not be the primary path of future Mario games," said Miyamoto, who currently serves as a representative director at Nintendo.
