Nintendo (NTDOY) said that pre-orders for its Nintendo Switch 2 console have been delayed in Canada, echoing a similar move on U.S. pre-orders announced last week in the wake of new tariffs imposed by the U.S., MobileSyrup’s Bradly Shankar reports. “Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in Canada will not start on April 9, 2025 in order to align with the timing of pre-orders to be determined in the U.S.,” Nintendo of Canada said in a statement to MobileSyrup. “Nintendo will provide updated information at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.”
