The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sent letters to roughly a dozen auto makers and suppliers seeking information on potentially defective air-bag inflations estimated to be in tens of millions of cars that were made by ARC Automotive, the Wall Street Journal’s Ryan Felton reports. The letters follow a string of recall campaigns and accidents, the author notes. Publicly traded companies in the space include Ford (F), General Motors (GM), Honda (HMC), Mercedes-Benz Group (DDAIF), Nissan (NSANY), Stellantis (STLA), Tesla (TSLA), Toyota (TM) and Volkswagen (VWAGY).
