New Jersey Natural Gas files to extend current energy-efficiency offerings

New Jersey Natural Gas filed with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities seeking to extend its current SAVEGREEN energy-efficiency offerings for an additional six months through December 31, 2024. Approved by the BPU on March 4, 2021, this cycle of programs went into effect on July 1, 2021, and is currently set to expire on June 30, 2024. The proposed extension will help ensure existing energy-efficiency offerings remain uninterrupted for customers as NJNG prepares to file the next cycle of SAVEGREEN offerings on December 1, 2023. Once approved by the BPU, the new program cycle will begin January 1, 2025.
