NatWest (NWG) is suing a mortgage finance company formerly backed by General Motors (GM) for over EUR 155M over soured securitization deals made in the run-up to the financial crisis, Alistair Gray of The Financial Times reports. The High Court in London heard the case brought by the UK bank against CMIS, which was originally part of GM, last week. The dispute relates to agreements that ABN Amro entered into with CMIS.
