Private equity firm Motive Partners is in discussions to acquire payments software provider ACI Worldwide, Bloomberg’s Liana Baker and Matthew Monks report, citing people familiar with the matter. Motive has been eyeing financing in recent weeks for a possible deal for ACI, the authors note. ACI Worldwide shares are up 10.5% in afternoon trading.
