Barclays says Morgan Stanley’s CEO transition has been very successful, and part of that success is the consistent leadership, strategy and culture despite the transition. While investment banking pipelines have accelerated through M&A and IPO activity remain below trend lines, Morgan Stanley is poised for a rebound in 2025 and 2026, the firm says. Barclays made no change to its Overweight rating or $121 price target on Morgan Stanley shares.
