An investor in Momentus has sued backers of its blank-check merger with a shell company, Mike Leonard of Bloomberg Law reports. The lawsuit, which targets Stable Road Capital affiliates that sponsored the combination with a special purpose acquisition company, SPAC, and Momentus, claims they deliberately engineered a catastrophic transaction because the deal’s structure gave insiders a windfall.
