Microsoft (MSFT) plans to use Intel’s (INTC) 18A technology to make a chip that Microsoft designed in-house, Intel said on Wednesday. Microsoft recently announced a computer processor and an AI accelerator. “We need a reliable supply of the most advanced, high-performance and high-quality semiconductors,” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in a statement. “That’s why we are so excited to work with Intel.”
