Microsoft’s Azure cloud business is set to receive a formal complaint from the South African Competition Commission, accusing the company of charging too much for businesses to switch their cloud licenses to other vendors, Loni Prinsloo and Samuel Stolton of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the filing. The complaint is likely in the company days and may end up with a fine of up to 10% of Microsoft’s revenue in South Africa, according to Bloomberg.
