Microsoft (MSFT) president Brad Smith told the Wall Street Journal that the company made a deal offer over Activision’s (ATVI) "Call of Duty" franchise similar to one the company just reached with Boosteroid to Sony (SONY), which has been the most prominent critic of the Xbox maker’s proposed takeover of Activision Blizzard. Smith said that Microsoft and Sony have not reached a formal agreement on the matter and aren’t currently in talks. Reference Link
