A long anticipated spring offensive from Russia will now include cyberattacks targeting the Ukraine from a hacking group with Russian ties, wrote Julian E. Barnes, David E. Sanger and Marc Santora for the NY Times, citing a Microsoft (MSFT) report out on Wednesday. "The report also said that Russia appears to be stepping up influence operations outside Ukraine, in a push to weaken European and American support for continuing military aid, intelligence sharing and other assistance to the Ukrainian government," added the NYT story.
