Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg informed employees on Monday of a major overhaul of the company’s artificial intelligence group, commenting that the company is committing to making AI “superintelligence,” or systems that can complete task as well as or potentially better than humans, Bloomberg’s Kurt Wagner reports. The CEO said that the social media giant’s AI efforts will operate under a new group known as Meta Superintelligence Labs, which will be led by Alexandr Wang, former CEO of Scale AI, the author says, citing an internal memo.
