Meta (META) will join Apple (AAPL) in likely facing charges before the summer for failing to comply with new EU rules under the Digital Markets Act, Reuters’ Foo Yun Chee reports, citing three people with direct knowledge of the matter. The European Commission, which launched probes into the two tech giants as well as Google (GOOGL) in March, views Apple and Meta as priority cases, the author notes.
