Maxeon Solar announced that Matt Dawson will be joining the company on March 20 to serve as Chief Technology Officer. Dawson will be responsible for the research and development function globally, establishing the company’s new technology strategic roadmap and leading technological innovation and development. As a senior member of the executive team, Matt Dawson will report directly to the CEO Bill Mulligan. Most recently, Dawson has been Vice President of Technology at Sila Nanotechnologies, a privately held Silicon Valley company working towards scaling up the manufacture of an innovative silicon anode material for advanced high-performance batteries.
