Mattel announced a multi-brand collaboration between the iconic Barbie brand and five female-led Canadian companies. Timed to the 65th anniversary of Barbie, the collection highlights the impact of Barbie through the decades with a unique design lens from each brand. As a collaborative effort, each Canadian brand – Hilary MacMillan, ai, Paris Jewellers Canada, Cheekbone Beauty and Sol Kyst – worked seamlessly together to design and develop eight cohesive looks, featuring over 100 products, inspired by iconic Barbie dolls over the past six decades. All participating brands and pieces will launch simultaneously on August 15 at 11 A.M. E.S.T., with integrated web interfaces, which allow consumers to shop each brand hyperlinked together, allowing seamless consumer experience.
