Macquarie analyst Tim Nollen reiterated a Neutral rating and $94 price target on Disney (DIS) after all Disney channels went dark on Charter’s (CHTR) Spectrum pay TV service overnight as the affiliate renewal discussions hit an impasse. The dispute has occurred right before the U.S. Open and college football season, the firm notes, adding that Charter is propsing a “glide path” for both sides to a streaming future. The firm expects the two sides to resolve their disagremeent in some form before long as the stakes are too high for both.
