Lucid Group (LCID) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Air vehicles, stating in a filing dated March 23 with the NHTSA that electrically activated contact switches that transfer energy to the drive motors may unexpectedly open, cutting off power to the electric motors. "This may lead to a loss of propulsion without pre-warning and may increase the risk of a crash," the company said in the filing. The potential number of units affected is 637 vehicles, according to the NHTSA filing. Sensata Technologies (ST) is the supplier that manufactures the contactors for 2022 and 2023 Lucid Air vehicles, the filings with the regulator stated. Reference Link
