Earlier in the week, a U.S. appeals court ruled for Ticketmaster and Live Nation in the the ticket sellers move to force arbitration of a consumer antitrust case, giving them a win amid widespread criticism of the Live Nation-Ticketmaster deal, says Bloomberg. "The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled for the ticketing giant, saying the company is entitled to arbitrate claims that it gouged customers on fees after its merger with Ticketmaster by leveraging its monopoly to gain a stranglehold over the ticket resale market," added the story.
