Lilium wins major order from Saudia, Reuters reports

Lilium has won a significant order from state-owned Saudi Arabian airline Saudia, Reuters’ Alexander Huebner reports. According to a source, Saudia had signed a framework deal to buy 100 Lilium jets roughly 18 months ago and the aim is to convert the deal into a concrete order for vertical take-off electric air taxis. An event is being held at Lilium’s headquarters near Munich on July 18 that will give insight into Saudia’s forthcoming deals, according to the report, which adds that it will be one of the biggest orders for Lilium.
