Barclays analyst Jeffrey Bernstein lowered the firm’s price target on Kura Sushi to $65 from $95 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The company pre-announced Q3 comp and revenue well below Street estimates, led by “unanticipated softness” in California, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says that with category comps reaccelerating in May, the shortfall was surprising.
