Argus raised the firm’s price target on Kroger to $72 from $70 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company’s prospects are bolstered by affordable private brands, strong customer analytics that allow Kroger to deliver personalized discounts, and a growing emphasis on fresh foods, as well as by the convenience of online ordering and curbside pick-up at virtually all of its stores, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Argus is also raising its FY25 EPS view on the name by 4c to $4.44.
