Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken plans to offer tokenized versions of over 50 stocks/ETFs to non-U.S. customers, starting in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia, The Wall Street Journal’s Alexander Osipovich reports. Non-U. S. customers will be able trade Apple (AAPL), Tesla (TSLA), Nvidia (NVDA) and other popular stocks as tokens over a digital ledger, the report says, adding that like bitcoin (BTC), they will trade 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The rollout will begin in the coming weeks, with the tokenized stocks going live in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
