Barclays analyst James Hosie lowered the firm’s price target on Kosmos to $9.40 from $9.50 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The company’s Q2 numbers “appeared to unnerve the market, but were ahead of our estimates,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
