Vision One Management Partners, an activist hedge fund chaired by former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, has built a stake in Kohl’s and expressed concerns to the company about its future while pushing the U.S. department store operator to sell itself, people familiar with the matter told Reuters’ Svea Herbst-Bayliss. In afternoon trading, Kohl’s shares have jumped about 6% to $27.18 following the report.
