KKR (KKR) is considering investing in Nissan (NSANY) after the struggling Japanese automaker’s talks to combine with rival Honda (HMC) failed, Bloomberg’s Siddharth Vikram Philip and Manuel Baigorri report. According to people familiar with the matter, KKR is in the early stages of evaluating an equity or debt investment to improve Nissan’s financial position, and KKR may not decide to pursue a deal.
