JPMorgan (JPM) is creating a new global role to oversee all junior bankers in an effort to better manage their workload after the death of a Bank of America (BAC) associate in May forced Wall Street firms to examine how they treat their youngest employees, CNBC’s Hugh Son reports. Ryland McClendon has been named JPMorgan’s global investment banking associate and analyst leader, according to a memo sent this month, CNBC says. McClendon will support the “well-being and success” of junior bankers, according to the memo.
