JPMorgan (JPM) has appointed Jay Horine, formerly co-head of global investment banking, to lead its new Security & Resiliency Initiative, a $1.5T investment effort focused on U.S. national security-related sectors such as defense, energy, and manufacturing, Reuters’ Nupur Anand reports. The initiative is part of the bank’s plan to invest up to $10B in U.S. companies over the next decade. Horine will continue reporting to global banking co-heads Filippo Gori and John Simmons.
