JetBlue (JBLU) shares are off the day’s highs after United Airlines (UAL) addressed “rumors spreading” of its involvement in a potential strategic transaction with another airline. United said it is not in talks with any airline regarding a potential merger. JetBlue shares moved lower following the announcement but remains up 39c to $6.71 in afternoon trading.
