Citi lowered the firm’s price target on JD.com to $42 from $43 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Amid intensified competition among all major e-commerce platforms pushing for a low-price strategy, JD has decided to hold back on aggressive subsidies which Citi believes caused the company to experience slower than industry growth in Q2, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
