DA Davidson initiated coverage of J.M. Smucker with a Neutral rating and $132 price target. The analyst sees some risk to the recent Hostess Brands acquisition. Hostess is a great business but may have been purchased “too late rather than too early,” the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says that if the Hostess integration continues on plan, it would look to be more constructive.
