Baird lowered the firm’s price target on J.B. Hunt to $205 from $215 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm noted expectations had been sliding through Q1 given challenging volume/pricing trends, but results were even weaker than expected. Baird said negative EPS revisions for the balance of 2024, and to a lesser extent 2025, should pressure shares but recommends investors buy large pullbacks going forward.
