As previously announced and in connection with the consummation of the transaction described under Item 1.01 of the Original Report, Invitae had initiated a workforce reduction. At the time of the Original Report, the company was not able to estimate one-time severance related charges. The company expects to incur one-time severance related charges of approximately $4M in the quarter ending March 31, 2024, the company said in a regulatory filing.
