Arkhouse Management and Brigade Capital Management in recent days raised their bid to acquire Macy’s by about $300M, Lauren Thomas of Wall Street Journal reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The new proposal is to acquire the Macy’s stock they don’t already own for $24.80 per share, or roughly $6.9B, sources told the Journal. Macy’s closed Wednesday up 11c to $17.93.
