International Paper (IP) is weighing an offer of over GBP 5B for British-based packaging group DS Smith (DITHF), Sky News’ Mark Kleinman reports. A formal offer by International Paper would gatecrash an agreed GBP 10B tie-up between DS Smith and Mondi (MONDY), the report notes.
