VLSI Technology and Intel (INTC) have agreed to settle a patent dispute in Delaware, in which VLSI sought over $4B in damages from Intel, Reuters’ Blake Brittain reports, citing a court filing. VLSI, a portfolio company of Fortress Investment Group, which was acquired by SoftBank (SFTBY) in 2017, launched a series of suits against Intel claiming the chipmaker infringed on its intellectual property.
