Huawei Technologies plans to start mass shipments of its advanced 910C AI chip to Chinese customers as early as next month, with some shipments already made, Fanny Potkin and Che Pan of Reuters reports, citing two people familiar with the matter. The timing is fortuitous for Chinese AI companies who were left scrambling for domestic alternative of H20, the AI chip that Nvidia (NVDA) up until recently freely sold in the Chinese market.
