Nuno Matos, HSBC‘s head of wealth and personal banking, will depart in a broader management shake-up as Georges Elhedery prepares to become CEO, the Financial Times’ Ortenca Aliaj and Kaye Wiggins reports, citing the bank. Matos will leave the group in 2025 “to pursue other opportunities” and will be replaced by Barry O’Byrne, who currently serves as leader of the global commerical banking division.
