HP said in a regulatory filing that on September 29, Alex Cho, President of Personal Systems, informed HP Inc. (HPQ) and HP agreed that Cho will depart HP in order to pursue outside professional ambitions, following a more than 30-year career with the company. Cho will step down from his current role effective November 1, and will remain with HP to aid with the transition until December 31. Ketan Patel will succeed Cho as President of Personal Systems, effective November 1. Patel has over 20 years of experience at the company, most recently as SVP and COO, Global Personal Systems Category.
