Honeywell is considering the sale of its personal protective equipment unit amid waning demand post-pandemic, Bloomberg’s Kiel Porter reports. The company is working with an adviser to explore strategic options for the business, including a sale that could value the unit at more than $2B, people familiar with the matter say. Private equity firms are likely to be interested in the business, which Honeywell previously weighed selling in 2020.
