Stifel raised the firm’s price target on Home Depot (HD) to $405 from $400 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. Home Depot reported $3.67 EPS in Q3, outpacing the firm’s $3.41 estimate, helped by a stronger sales performance and gross margin performance, the analyst noted. Commentary pointed to a stronger underlying gross margin performance, which drives the firm’s increased EPS outlook, but the revenue outlook “remains largely unchanged and the firm continues to expect “a tepid home improvement category recovery,” the analyst tells investors.
