A threat actor claims to have hacked U.S.-based carrier American Airlines (AAL), Daily Dark Web reports. In a post dated September 23, 2025, the group alleges a major breach that exposed data from 2 million users. The stolen database is said to contain sensitive details, including names, email addresses, contact information, account and routing numbers, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and ID numbers, according to the report.
