GSK Plc is facing a whistleblower lawsuit that hasn’t been reported before and could potentially cost it billions of dollars, according to Bloomberg’s Jef Feeley and Anna Edney. An amended complaint filed Monday by Valisure, the independent lab that raised the alarm about Zantac’s cancer risks in 2019, claims that GSK hid Zantac’s cancer risks for decades while Medicare and Medicaid covered prescriptions for the antacid, Bloomberg reported.
