GreenPower Motor Company delivered the first Type D BEAST all-electric, purpose-built, zero-emission school bus manufactured at the company’s South Charleston, West Virginia manufacturing plant to the Kanawha County School District. GreenPower currently has 37 Type D BEASTs in production that have been ordered by the state of West Virginia. Substantially all of these school buses will be delivered by the end of the calendar year. Below is a list of the county school districts and the number of BEAST school buses each will receive.
