Google reached a settlement in an AI chip patent infringement lawsuit filed by Singular Computing, which sought $1.67B in damages, Reuters’ Blake Brittain and Nate Raymond report. Google spokesperson Jose Castaneda said that the company did not violate Singular’s patent rights and that it was “pleased to have resolved this matter.”
