Google (GOOG) is delaying the release of its Gemini large language model, telling some cloud customers and business partners not to expect the new conversational AI tool until the first quarter of next year, The Information’s Jon Victor reports, citing two people with direct knowledge. The delay comes as Microsoft (MSFT) has seen continued success with ChatGPT, the author notes.
