Alphabet’s (GOOGL) Google and Nvidia (NVDA) have voiced concerns to the FTC about Microsoft’s (MSFT) proposed takeover of Activision Blizzard, (ATVI), Bloomberg’s Leah Nylen, Dina Bass, and Ian King report, citing people familiar with the matter. The companies have jointed Sony (SONY) in expressing trepidation about the deal, which the FTC sued to block last month, the authors say. The commission has contended that the transaction would harm competition in the video game sector and has scheduled an in-house trial for August, the authors say, noting that either company could be called to testify in said trial.
