In an order posted to the site of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Judge Amit Mehta stated in part that “the complete divestiture of Chrome is a poor fit for this case.” In the U.S. Department of Justice antitrust case against Google’s search and advertising business, the court accepts, with its modifications, Google’s proposed remedies in full and adopts Plaintiffs’ proposed remedies in part, the ruling noted.
