Goldman Sachs has begun laying off managing directors worldwide as the bank reduces its headcount amid a deals slump, Bloomberg’s Liana Baker and Crystal Tse report, citing people familiar with the matter. Roughly 125 managing directors, including some in investment banking, will be cut, the authors say.
